ok help please. first let me tell you my problem. im installing a new cd player in my car. 2001 cavalier. i have read a lot and understand how to do it forthe most part. BUT i have the amplified rear speakers. which from what i have read on here is different from the monsoon system. i am goung to repalce the factory amp for the rear speakers anyway but are the wire colors at the cd player the same and could i still use the tracker harness to hook up the front speakers, constant power, and ground? also which color wire off of the steering harness can be used for the aux power? i read one place that it is brown and another place said it was orange. thanks

Yes the harness will still work, just make sure you hook up the amp turn on wire to get the amp to work. I believe it's a pink wire. And orange is the correct color in the ignition harness for accessory power.

thanks it came out good. with the subs i got from a site online im hitting 135 decibels on regular music. and a little advice to anyone who is doing the same. DONT CONNECT THAT AMP TURN ON TO THE PURPLE WIRE i didnt see a pink wire and assumed that the purple was close enough. anyway before i fixed is NONE OF MY GAUGES WORKED
