Hi, i was wondering if a G5 radio or Wave radio will fit in our 2002 cavaliers. The reason i want one is so i can hook my ipod up to it and keep a factory look. also do u guys know if it would plug in properly or do they have to program it for security reasons. thanks

i was going to use a similar radio (Chevy equinox) in my car. i had the harness and already talked the dealer in to unlocking it. with proof that it was from a salvage vechicle. im sure it can be done but i didn't want to cut up my dash to put it in. it looks like the space for our stock radio is not deep enough making it a real PITA to install it.
as far as it plugging in no, but you can probably splice the harness together. but im not 100% on that one i think there was 1 extra wire on the equinox radio.
im not sure if this helps you at all. but if you do try to install it post pics man. id love to see it.
