I was going to wait to get a new HU but I saw this deal on ebay and was wondering if you guys think i should go for it. It's a JVC Arsenal KD-AR870. It's got the USB port on the front and it has 5-volt pre-amp outputs.

I don't know much about it but the price is decent, everywhere else is selling it around 200.

I've heard a lot of people say if you go JVC go with the arsenal series and this one is and arsenal and it's less expensive than the eclipse and i like it but i need to know if it will cause unwanted sounds in my system.

BTW, i got the subs hooked up and they pound. My friends are all like, "Elemental Designs? sounds like a brand you'd see in the bathroom." I showed them. Their heads probably still hurt.

I would say go with that over the JVC.

glad to see your happy with the 13ov2s. Did you get the gains set remotely close?

ooh btw. are you measureing voltage with or without the speakers hooked up?

Having them unhooked will change the load presented to the amp, and that will change a variation in voltage.
