Good place to buy?

The prices they have are cheap as hell. Just seems "Too good to be true".

1500 watts, wow, that's a lot of power.

Good luck on finding it then. not to mention you will pay dearly for that output. But your the one missing out on a damn fine sub. Not even JL Audio has a sub that will take at least 1500watts. Audiobahn does, but then again you get what you pay for. Audiobahn = crap. So you have a nice long look around for yourself. Good luck.

Because I have heard the kicker L7, sounds nothing like what ED can put out. Kicker = over priced crap.

do you work for ED? because you sound like a salesman for them (not tryin to be rude)

you may be right but i would have to hear a ED sub in person before i can just buy it without hearing it.

do you know anyone in/around Columbus Ohio that has one that I could hear?

I heard the L7 and love it. So before i can buy, I MUST hear it.

No I do not in any way, shape, or form work for ED at all. I have personally heard them next to JL, Kicker, and various other subs, none of them compaired to the ED subs. A friend of mine has 2 11Ov.2 in his Durango with 1200 watts going to them both (600 each) and they can take more than that. There peakers are very under ratted.

ok well, the thing still is: i need to hear them

Anyone near Columbus OH, if you have them let me know, i will drive to you, just to hear them

all i wanna do is hear them, that always makes the final decision for me anyway.

We actually have a driver called the SPv2 that is made to handle more power.

Its listed on the website but you have to know what to look for.

Its not hard to find subs that can take that power. Hifonics Goliath subs take 3200w rms. And i believe they also make one that takes 1600 and 2400 rms.

LiquidFireCavy (mdk), hifonics = crap, IMHO. n8ball, no not a fan boy, thank you, just a believer in what they can do, since I have seen and heard what they can do. Also I could really do without the sarcasim from a 24 year old, grow up boy.

ok a question

on the ED website, where does it list the size the sub comes in?

i dont want any smaller than 15"

Re: woofersetc.com

Why stuck on 15's? You can get good thump out of 10's and 12's too.

Re: woofersetc.com
Sunday, September 10, 2006 5:30 AM
Do you plan to go with 1 or 2 15's?

because i have a friend with one 15" L7 seeing 1200 watts RMS and IMHO, it doesn't sound near as good as my brother's 2 12" jensen POS recieving maybe 200 watts a piece, that he bought used off of a kid he works with for $150. 10's and 12's can hit jsut as hard as 15's can.

Just my input on this topic

I have 2 13ovs and they are great. I reccomend eD.

Re: woofersetc.com

^^^ im stuck on the size 15" because that is as small as i will go.

i had 10's and 12's before and then when i got 15's i could def. tell the diff. in sound.
