Here's my setup.. 1-Kenwood 1100 watt amp, 2 12" 200 watt subs. Recently someone broke into my car, and almost took off with my stutff. All the wires were disconnected (I really need to get a decent alarm).. Now, I know very little about this stuff.. So maybe I did something wrong, I don't know.. I hooked all the wires back up.. The bass pounds pretty good.. One odd problem, when I turn the car on, even with the stereo off, I get this really loud 'WOOOMP" sound comming from the subs.. It only last maybe half a second, just enough to scare the lving crap out of the people in my car.. lol.. I'm scared that it's loud enough to blow the subs or amp.. Any ideas? Did I hook something up wrong? Any ideas? Maybe a bad ground still?

Make sure the rca cables are connected securly, I know I get a loud whomp sound when I unplug my base boost controller even when there is no music.
I don't think it's using rca cables, since I'm using the stock head unit.. I'm going to check to make sure the bass boost controller is plugged in securely as well.
