UGLY! I hate the space under it.
Man, I guess I'll just keep the stock H/U untill I get my LS1 Camaro.

well what else you gonna do with a din and a half?
another option is to mold your cd player trim into the dash bezel
or use a double din radio and fab it in.

no biggie, just make your tutorial for how to make the HU as pretty as you want while you are making the "2.2 auto to 3.4 manual" tutorial.

If you're refering to me doing that way back when, I ditched that in favor of a 1980 camaro, which now has a 500ci V8 in it

Happy day.
The 2.2 is the gas saver
Most peopls are the same so you cant really complain unless you make your own or move stuff around... to each their own but i like it

Here is a pic of my AVX2 CD/DVD Player.. really nice unit

Karnage... was it a bitch to get that thing to fit in there? I had so much trouble routing the RCA's so it'll fit. I wire tied the harness and everthing. Took me like 20 minutes to get it to fit right. Do you drive with Angle 2 or Angle 3?
Spinnin Cavi
do you have to modify anything to make that TV/head unit fit? Ive wanted one but wasnt sure about the depth and whatnot of our dashes?
Hey, yeah.. it wasnt really easy, but it wasnt that hard either, I actually tucked the RCAS and most of the wires down behind the back or on the sides and then slide the unit in, it was hard to wire it and then tuck it in and mount it, it didnt mount right at first till I put the bezel back in and then in kinda snapped back and stays
Its gonna suck wiring the other 2 8" Visor monitors into the the visors and plugging the wires back in though.. since ill be using 2 more sets ! lol

Know how you feel man, I have the PS2 connectors hooked up, an XM-Radio Aux in, and I'll be hooking up 2 7" visors soon as well as using all the front/rear/sub outs ... wow, maybe I should whip out the dremel and get to work lol.
Sorry, I forgot I said I would post pictures of my setup without the gap. This is just a standard Metra installation kit, you should be able to get it from Crutchfield or something.
Older third gen, something different than the other pics:
Took that more to show the MIin the ashtray (now removed), but it's the best shot of the HU that I have. Even with it sticking out that far it was hard to pack all the wires in place behind it!
i hated that h/u thank god im getting a new one
Karnage or Corsica Dude, do you guys like the deck? Friend of mine and myself are debating puting the unit in our cars. Ne thing would be helpful
