Hey guys, I just put in new front 4x6's and they both never work at the same time. They will both cut out and then one will come back on, but it has a lot of static. Also the front of my cd player feels kinda hot after you turn it on. What could be my problem??
Wires shorting anywhere? Did you check the ohm load of the speakers themselves with an ohm meter? How do you have them wired in?
if this is happening at high volumes mostly, then they are probably just cutting out and canceling frequencies. i had that problem before i set up my equalizer as a crossover network.
Injection is nice but id rather be BLOWN!
