It's gonna all be opinions.
I would reccomend going and listening to them at a store and choosing what you like. One thing to remember when trying them at a store is to remember that if you are gonna amp them in your car but the store doesn't have them amped, it's gonna sound a bunch different. Like the alpines, they sound like crap IMO when they aren't amped but as soon as you amp them, they open up a bunch.

I like alpine and focal. If I wasn't going with alpine in my car I would go with focal.

Are you open to other suggestions? A lot of people will suggest getting the classic set of CTD components on..wooferect.com for like $140ish....i think they have free ground shipping and come with tthe wire that hooks em up...or something like that...you might wanna check into those too because ive heard nothing about good things about those in that price range

I have the 60.7cs's and am extremely happy with them over my old kappa 2 ways, unless those JLs are the same as what James has in his sedan I haven't heard any of the others (but he had a lot of them if those were the ones),.

the whole you don't know what bad is until you hear better is true though, that's for sure, get put and see if you can hear them.

I considered the CDTs for a bit but went with the Kappa's just because I could not listen to the CDTs and went with something I already knew I would be happy with.

good luck and happy shopping

I am open to other suggestions. These are just the 4 i have heard. I want some thing that is going to sound good and is under 175 to replace my 4x6 infinity plates. They will also be amped.

Thanks
Josh

I've got the CL-61A's based on other's opinions as well and I'm not disappointed. I think you'll like them. Silk dome tweeters also so the highs aren't overly bright.

Lanzar Opti components

I have the 5 1/4's hooked up in kick panels and they ring out beautifully. The 6 1/2 inch are going in my doors eventually.
