I dont want to spend a lot of money (that i dont have) but would like to replace the stereo and speakers in a 2002 sunfire. Anyone have any comments on what brands i should look for that dont cost too much but are good. Again i know that i wont get top of the line sound without paying top of the line but wouldnt mind something with good bass.

If you want good speakers for low cost, try Ultimate and Profile. The Ultimate PS speakers were awesome, but are now discontinued... Profile's components also sound very nice (http://www.Profile-usa.com)
Well for a decent price, but sound quality as well, and something that will last a little longer than profiles or ultimates, I would go with mb quart discus series speakers. Even there coaxes sound beautiful. Or Diamond audio's coaxes are pretty nice and they give you the option of a soft or hard dome tweeter I think.
