ok i have a 96 cavalier 3sp auto and my question is back in the day i put on the white face gauges and i messed up the speedo, and heat part.. speedo is off about 10mph and the heater is not even close. my question is if i find another gauge cluster from the same yr cava is it just plug and play. also on the mileage is it easy to fix or not?
thanks for all the help!

the milage is stored in the computer of the car, so if you find another gauge cluster from the same year, (or at least same design), with the same insturmentation you have, you should be fine

He said he has a 96, which doesn't have the didital odo. You can swap everything over, and from what I understand about the odometer, just take the mileage tumblers from your cluster and put it on the new one.

i think a dealer has to do that, of if u put a new one in.. you can show them and have them set it for you and give you a certificate stating that it is true so when u sell you car (if) you dont get in trouble for resetting the mileage

ok so let me get this straight.

for one thing i dont have gigital.

so then the cluster will work fine. correct temp and mph.

also i can take it to the dealer and they can set it for me and give me a certificate?
