hey guys i got the pioneer navigation unit that hooks up to my flip out.. now i am trying to find a spot where to install it.. i was thinking to put it in the truck inside top ( between the speakers) but its an uneven surface soo i would need to make some brackets to hang down and hold it.. thats one option.. but does anyone else have any ideas.. ( not glove box though)

i was also thinking under the driver seat.. But now i dont have racing seats and it fits fine .. not sure if it will fit after i get racing seats..

how big is it. is it disc based?

yep disk .. its the size of a regular car cd player

well damn the disc part sucks. I was gonna say take apart the center console and mount it inside it. Not the part where the arm rest is. But behind the cup holders inside the piece that tucks up into the dash.

not sure if the cav is the same as the sunfire center console but under the arm rest, you can pop out the tray. great place to stash stuff too hint hint... make a bracket from the bottom and load it in there, lots of breathing room because the console extends up to the front, and it'd be a perfect fit.
