Amp Shutting down

Ok, the other day my amp shut down for a few minutes and then came back on. I had it working really hard, it was really hot out and I accidentally put a bag on the amp. So I figured it got too hot and shot down. Didn't do it again until the other day. It was shutting down and then comming back on. Stopped again now it shut down and wont come back on. The power light blinks. So I know its getting power. I checked all the fuses and they're good. Any ideas as to why the power light blinks? Is my amp dead? Its a Pioneer 760amp BTW.

Look exactly like this one only silver

Its probably the automatic cut out. My rockford used to do that. I rigged up two computer fans over it to keep it cool and it really made a difference

Well I found the problem and figured I would post it in case someone has the same problem or runs into it.

It was the power wire. It was blinking because it was receiving power from the remote power wire, but not the 12v hot wire. I have a RF power wire with the inline fuse. It has gold plated ends. Where the fuse is inline it has an end on each side with the fuse in the middle. The wire slides into a gold connector and has an allen screw that clamps it down. Well that allen screw had backed out a bit. So it wasn't getting a connection. Thats why it was random. It would move just right and hit, then wouldn't. So I just tightened it up and fixed the problem.
