I installed my eclipse head unit the other day, before that i had a panasonic, everything fit and installed fine. The only problem is, the deck slides out about an inch or so after driving around, then i have to push it back in, i have all the brackets in so i cant figure out what the hell the problem is, anyone else have this happen?

the radio isn't "clipping" into the sleeve bracket.

vipers right to fix the problem you have to take out the sleeve . you will see were there are like two clips that hook to the radio one on each side when u see that push them inward about a half of an inch to a inch and then reinstall the sleeve, then when the radio goes in you will hear it lock into the sleeve

Eclipse uses a different style "lock" for their sleeves, at least on some of their radios. It may have come with two brackets that screw onto each side of the radio. Without them screwed in place, it won't lock in like it seems like it's doing now. If that's what it is, just look in the manual, it'll tell you how to mount them.

Hey I've had teh same problem. Definately check teh sleeve like everyone said but also check your wiring harness and make sure that it's trimed down and isn't pushing on your deck when you put it in. I had that problem, my harness was pushing on the back of the dash and after a little whie and bumpin and vibrating around in the dash it would work it's way out.

Hope this gives you some ideas to fix the problem

cheers
