Im very confussed on the directions i got,it says connect the yellow wire t o the yellow wire on the supplied 24-way harness and to the aftermarket radio's constand lead

3,connect the red wire only to the ign lead from the aftermarket radio

What i don't understand is in the instructions it says/ connect the yellow wire to the yellow wire on the supplied 24-way harness and to the aftermarket radio's constand lead.

There are only 3 main wires to worry about when wireing up a new HU

1yellow +12v main power
2Red +12V Acces
3Black ground

I want to wire it this way

(Red)12volt ign/Acc from the metra harness to the yellow +12v main on the Aftermarket radio harnes.

(Yellow)12volt Batt/memory to the + 12v acces wire on the new aftermaket harness

(Black) Ground

If you've installed one of these please let mw know how you wired it,i think im reading into it to much witch is messing me up.

That's the way I wired mine. the red wire coming from the "speaker" is the one one that had me for 10 seconds. I wired mine with no instructions. The only annoying thing with the wiring harness in the high pitched chimes

So my friend you agree to how i should wire it

Also i don't need to tap into that yellow wire???

and about the chimes in the module theres a wire you slice but im not even there yet LOL

Well i just wired it up that way and nothing

The thing chimes when you start the car but it doesn't light up at all

match the colors up. Red to red, yellow to yellow.
