I've been having a couple of electrical problems with my cluster, sometimes when i go to start the car, i turn the key on and let the fuel pump run, i notice the the gear indicator light jumps to gear 2 while its in park, as soon as i crank the car, it goes back to park. it only does it like 1 out of 5 cranks.

A bigger problem is the Theft light that comes on. the car is a 95, but when i bought it, it was completly stripped of wires, so now there is a 96 engine, obo2 computer, wiring harness and ingnition from a 96, so the whole car is now a obo2 system. The cd player is from another cavalier, but it works fine and never asked for a code. When i installed the cluster, the car didnt start and i did all the steps to reset the computer to get it to start, so i have no idea what could be causing the theft light, it comes on maybe 1 out of 10 starts. is there anyway to disable the light?????

Forgot to mention, the car does not have any alarm, keyless entry or remote start, and the car drives fine.
