Distortion from Amp.

ok. so i have a Directed Audio 1500X Amplifier. well. within the past couple of months my amp has been sending a constant pulsing sound to my subs. and on top of that it sounds like the voicecoil in my subs are going out. but i hooked up 2 brand new 12" eclipse subs to it the other day and they sound the same. ive checked my RCA's Ground,Power, and remote turn on. i also checked how they were wired. everthing seems ok. if i unhook the RCA's it still does it so i know its not Noise through the RCA's also if i unhook the remote wire and jump the Power to the Remote turn on it still does it. is this somehting wrong with my amp or is it my Ground wire. i have tried many different grounding points and they all dont help. is there anything else i can try???

did you run the RCAs down the same side of the car as the Power wire? This will cause alternator whine, which it sounds like you have. Run RCAs on one side of the car, power on the other.

if it does it with the car not running its the amp, if u defintely want to be sure, pull the amp, bench test it and if still pulses its the amp

Its not how fast your car goes....its how much nerve the driver has to push it that fast.
