Ok, so I have the following equipment
Phoenix Gold Xenon X100.4 Four Channel Amplifier
Phoenix Gold Xenon X600.1 Monoblock Amplifier
Phoenix Gold Xenon X6.5 Components/Passive Crossover Network
Phoenix Gold Xenon 12" D4 Subwoofers (two)
Alpine Type S 6x9 Speakers
JVC KD-S580 CD Receiver
now the CD Receiver is pretty basic (cheap), and i will probably need to upgrade to to get everything working...correct? Anyway, what i need to know is what wirring will i need? Do i need 2 sets of RCA cables to run to the amps from the HU? How much speaker wire do i need? Do i need 2 amp kits? I want to order everything online but i don't really know what i need, and what connects where. If anyone has any advise, it would be appreciated. TIA
Here ya go.

wow...looks like a good shopping list and very good prices. Can anyone confirm this list? Also, what do i need to hook it all up to the battery? Also, what if i threw a Cap in the mix, what other wirring would i need?
TIA
Dont worry about a cap. Unless you just wanted it for looks. If need be just upgrade the Big 3 to 4 guage wiring. So if your gonna do that add about 10-12 feet of 4 guage.
And for battery terminal you will need one of these
Item #: GMBT $4
Also if you do the Big there you will need to get atleast 6 but i would get 8 just in case
Item #: RT4516BK There $1 each
Get yourself a new unit with 3 sets of rca outputs. Front and rear will go to your 4 channel amp, sub will go to the monoblock. You'll need 3 sets of RCA cables to go from your head unit to your amps, and approx. 50 feet of speaker wire to run to your 4 channel amp.

sorry, why do i need 3 sets of RCA's? One from HU to the 4 ch amp, and one from the HU to the mono amp. What is the 3rd one for? TIA
You dont need three sets you can used one 4 ch set and a 2 ch set like i posted and you dont need 50" of speaker wire 40" will be more then enough.
you need 3 sets because most 4 channel amps have front and rear inputs ...

ok guys they make these things called 4 Channel RCA's. You dont need three pairs just a Pair of 2 Channel RCAs and 4 Channel RCA's. Lets all do more research if need be before posting things. We dont want to give people the wrong information.
Thanks
Jeremy

thanks Siegel1719, what you're saying makes sense. So you guys think i should use 4 guage instead of like 0/1?
Yes 4 guage will be more then enough. I would use 4 guage for up to 100-120 amps of current and you will maybe be pulling 80amps max so yur good.
never hurts to go bigger though...in case you're upgrading .. + bigger wire = less voltage lost..it wont be much different, but it won't hurt at all

Using 2 pairs of singles or 1 4 channel set of rca's is the same thing. It's not giving wrong information, and getting singles is usually more convienient to find than finding a 4 channel set of rca's.
