Autopage 520LCD 2 Way Alarm
Sunday, March 05, 2006 12:46 AM
Alright so I bought this alarm and will be installing it next week hopefully. my question is do I still need any bypass modules for it since it is just an alarm and not remote start, or do I still need the 555l pass lock module? Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance. The link for the alarm is below.

Nope just relays for your door locks if you dont have factory keyless entry.

Yeah I got factory keyless entry. That's actually part of the reason I wanted to install an alarm because the factory keyless entry is messed up and the remote only works when you're like a foot away from the car. I figure using the alarm for keyless entry will fix that problem, and no it's not just the problem of a low battery in my remote I tried replacing it a long time ago and it didn't help. Thanks for the input guys.

There wasn't an 850 only an 855 or an 860 and the only additional features that they have as far as I can see is the remote start. My car is a manual so I don't want remote start. Correct me if I'm wrong and there are more features, but the one I got should work just fine and I was trying not to spend a whole lot.

lol i actually hooked it up all and then took it somewhere to do remote start because its manual i used the 2nd lowest or the very lowest crank i believe that was a problem to set it kept over cranking kind of a PITA but we got it all worked out the manual for that page was missing lol
