I'm in the process of hooking up a amp and i need to know which wire out of my radio is the remote.
It is a older Sony CD receiever, not sure the model. It has coming out of it:
2 - Blue wires
2 - Grey wires
2 - Green wires
2 - Purple wires
2 - White wires
1 - Black wire
1 - Red wire
1 - Yellow wire
I'm thinking that all the colors in pairs of 2 are for speakers, the red for power and the black for ground, leaving the yellow wire as the remote. Am i right??????????????????

i think yellow was acc, but dont quote me on that.
usually remote wire is blue with a white stripe. or just blue.
but if it has both, then one is remote, and the other is power ant. don't mix the two.
