My friend has a GMC and wants to put in a second battery.
(please forgive the mspaint drawing)

Now his alt connects to his main battery(batt 1). and then form the battery it goes to his main fuse distro block.
this type of iso/relay

to my knowledge connects the two only once the car is on, so that the accessories on teh second abtt dont drain the main. Will this be okay for wiring? the wire to the fuse block is prob 4-8ga. should i fuse the second battery? is there anything im missing?
seems right. and yes, id fuse the 2nd batt.....might as well, it won't hurt anything to fuse it
