HI all i just wanted to know how many of you Guys/Girls have a flip-out screen in cavy with an auto.
The reason im asking is because i have 7" one and if i flip the mounting kit like i want so it doesn't cover all the vents its going to hit it.
Please post your pics if you can of the screen comming out are how you have it mounted.

I had to buy the metra kit because the scoshe one made my monitor hit the lip on the vents. Now there is about an inch of backspacing
The Only thing Gayer than my cavalier is the purple shade of its nitrous bottle
My buddy did what you are talking about. We used a pipe cutter and trimed down the auto shifter to clear the screen, note you'l have to cut the metal pipe first then trim down the plastic piece inside which is attached to the button. It makes more sense once toy take your shift knob off and see it for yourself.

Well thanks for the info but i don't know about cuting my shifter etc
Its not had at all, and its all you can do if you want to mount it that low, if the car wasn;t wrecked i'd get pics for you, if you have any questions on how to do it lemme know
I think for now i'll just mount it the regular way because of all the snow and cold wheather.Then in the summer time do it the other way
