Deck Install but wires cut?

Hi I'm new to this and complete newbie to car audio. My friend got into an accident and he pulled his deck out of car, riping the wires. He offered to sell it to me for cheap but I'm not even sure its installable. It's a JVC KD-G700. Here's a pic of the rear

its fine, just cut the tape off and look at the colors and the writings, you may need a harness to go from your aftermarket stereo to your stock wires. costs about $20 usd.
