Alright before anyone says I should have done a search before posting this, I did a search and didn't find the info I was looking for. Anyway I was looking at this alarm and was wandering what other relays I would need to get for it to work on my cavy. Also I am looking at installing this myself and was wandering how dificult it was and if anyone had any links to wiring diagrams for the cavy. Also is it really worth having the 2 way paging or is it just a waste of money? I've found the alarm for around 180 shipped but it says refurbished so I'm a little leary on that. Has anyone gotten a refurbished one and if so any problems with it? All comments welcome. Thanks in advance.

http://www.designtech-intl.com/main.asp?action=select&yr=1676&product=Security theres a link to the wiring diagram. if you have that its EASY as pie if you know anything about electronics. the 2 way paging is WAY worth having especialy if you have alot of expensive stuff on your car. it will tell you when you and where you car is being broken in to. depending on the site if its refurbished and it doesnt work. you should be able to return it. have fun and good luck

I bought mine off ebay - brand new for $190. I find it to be cheap security for what will be in my car.
I will be hopefully installing it this weekend depending on the weather.
I still haven't decided on what relays I need because i've heard different thing from multiple people but it definently isn't going to hurt to put one in so most likely I will be using one for my domelight and one for my trunk popper.
One thing I would recomend is before installing it, mark all the wires as to where they go before putting them all in. It just makes it a bunch easier.
Your also gonna need a passlock module and im pretty sure you need the 555l.
