Ive seen alot of guys talking about sealing off there trunk from the back seat to gain spl I was wondering how do you seal off your trunk.
Well, you could weld it shut. That would certainly seal it off. However if I were you i'd just dynomat the whole trunk and make sure everything is covered. There is an air-vent in the trunk on the passenger side that could also be sealed off. You lose alot of pressure through there, so ensure you cover that with dynomat too.
Seal the rear deck, trunk, and vent from the rest of the vehicle. Unless you've got multiple subs and a good bit of power, i wouldn't suggest sealing it off. It would be a lot of work and hassle, especially if you don't have the right box.
Like this?
Sure it's not pretty, but wood trim, expanda foam, silicone cauking, fiberglass, etc.
That's what I'm talking about
but ported would be alot better
Seeing just a port would be mint. Gimmie a few weeks.

Still having the speakers would be great too, both amp and sub's have been gone for 8 months and I have been dying inside every time I drive my car.
