This has been stuck in my head for a while, I think it's about time I got some educated guessed from the org.
Would it make sense to port the rear deck? I mean, I'm not using 6x9's anyway (and if I were I could port thru the middle.) I think if you were to seal up the rest of the deck and put a port or two in the rear deck to vent a sub in your trunk, it would work (roughly) the same as a 4th Order Bandpass, no?
The bass definately increases when you open the back seat, so I think this might make a difference too.

If airspace is proper and port is right size, yes, it would work. Why not seal the trunk completely and just port it out where the back seats are?
