What are you guys useing. Its for a freind so size dosent matter to much cuz its going into a trailblazer. I was thinking 3-4 ft^3 tuned to like 48-40htz. He wants it to be as loud as possible. Oh hes running it of a Hifonics amp. 1000w RMS at 1 ohm and were gonna pick up a 2 ohm DVC sub.

I'd tune to the mid-high 30's for daily. Is he just looking to get into comps?

No he just wants it as loud as possible for hes own personal use. And sorry i ment 38-40 htz.

If he wants it loud, do 3.5 cubic feet at 42 hertz. Musically it won't be too good, but it'll pound.
