I got a birthday this thursday and with the money i'm buyin some components and i was hoping to get the memphis 6.5" m class components. I'm just concerned about mounting depths. on the memphis site i says there is a 2.6" mounting depth. with a 3/4" spacer, is that enough to clear the window?

my depth is 2 1/6 and i've got about 1/4 of an inch space with a 3/4 spacer...

well my birthday has come and gone and i ended up getting two new subs instead. the new subs rock. check my reg.

Anyways, i still would like to know if anyone knows what the mounting depth from the front of the metal of the actual door panel to the window? i still need to know if i can clear components with at 2.6" mounting depth with a 3/4" spacer. so total mounting depth would be 1.35" from the front of the door panel to where the window would sit.

Bump. i really dont have the time this week to measure it myself, if anyone could help me out it would be greatly appreciated.

It takes approxamately 3 minutes to take your door panel off. It might be a tight fit with 2.6 inches.
