i have a 10"(or was it 12"? i can't remember...) Audiobahn sub in a box, and i have a MASSIVE 1000W amp powering it. i know the amp is completely unnecessary for the size of the sub...but it was cheap 2 years ago, so i bought it. the sub still sounds good, but i have no trunk.
i want my trunk back.
so, i'm thinking about getting
THIS instead.
any opinions from the bassheads? keep in mind, i don't intend to go deaf...i just want a little thump in the trunk, and a lot more cargo space.
massive 1000 wattt amp.... lol
it takes up a lot of trunk space. this sucker's a good 2.5 feet long, and maybe a foot wide. in a corolla trunk, i need all the space i can get, so the setup i have must go.
now, do you have something CONSTRUCTIVE to say, or are you just being a dork?
Those put out a fair amount of bass, and it'll save you a lot of space.
I have a basslink. I love it. Sounds like two 12"s. takes up less then a square foot.
If you dont have sound deadening, you might want to get some, its good enough to make enerything that does rattle, quite annoying. And you will actually feel it in the seats.
Brown eye also has one, you might wish to talk to him as well.
Save our Environment, Plant a bush back in texas.
I say go for it! Those things are oddly powerful. You might be able to find one a lil cheaper then 299 though.

thanks for the input, guys.
Lanman already helped me find one for cheap.
They actually really arent that bad for an "all in one" package.

please rephrase this. I don't get it. what's sound deadening, how does it work, etc?
Oryan - dynamat. look it up - that stuff is amazing.
Oryan, sound deadening as a rubber/bulytl sheet, spray, or paint like amterial to reduce rattling inside your car.
Dynamat is just an expensive name brand, I use Fat mat, which runs about $100 for 100 square feet. YOu only need about 70 sqaure feet for everthing on the car.

If you dont have sound deadening, you might want to get some, the basslsink is good enough to make everything that does rattle, quite annoying. And you will actually feel it in the seats.
