What do I need to do in order to swap 96 Sunfire reverse lights out for 2000 Sunfire reverse lights?
Whats the differance between the two?
I cant recall off the top of my head.
You are going to need 2 parts
1) the trunk bezel from a 2000 Sunfire
2) the bumper from a 2000 Sunfire
This is going to involve some rewiring... mainly cut and splice, but shouldn't be too bad.
Remove the 96 bezel and replace with 2000 bezel. If you need further instructions on that, let me know.
For the reverse lights themselves, you can either a) cut the wires at the socket and run the wires from the trunk lid to the driver's side of the trunk, through the rubber grommet behind the left rear marker and to the reverse lights, or b) follow the wires back to where the trunk lid is not an interference and run the wires to the wires (following the last half of step a)
