Google has a feature that will convert the numbers. Just type in meters to feet or something similar. According to them: 1 meters = 3.2808399 feet
there is 3 feet in one meter
theres actually 3.28 feet in one meter

There's also a freeware program you can get called convert that works great for units conversions. It's a tiny program and does pretty much any unit conversion you can think of whether it be power, length, time, speed, volume, etc. It works pretty slick. You should be able to find the program by googling it.

That's like saying there are ten inches in a foot.
Let's say someone walks up to you and says I need a "insert item here" 55 meters long. Are you going to use 3 feet to a meter there? That thing would be WAY short.
