Ok I just purchased 2 12" audiobahn subs Special Edition or w/e. Heres the specs:
Brand: Audiobahn
Frequency Response: 24Hz-1kHz
Magnet Weight: 45 Oz
Efficiency: 92.1dB
Impedance: Dual 4 - 2 - 8 Ohm
RMS Power Handling: 400 Watts
Peak Power Handling: 800 Watts
Mounting Depth: 5-1/4 Inch
Size : 12 Inch
So both together you get about 1600 watts of peak power. Now im not looking for 1600 watts. Im lookin for about 600 or 700....rms from both combined.
Now heres what i need....an amp. What amp would get me what im looking for w.o blowing anything...
i hate audiobahn but check out ikesound.com and you can pick up a viper, dei, or orion 600D for a good price and that will give ya 600 watt's rms and that will be good for your sub's
how many channels 2? i see some 2 channel amps with 1000 watts for like 100 bux
i found a viper 600.1 is that good?
get a class D they are sub amps and are 1ch
incase you didnt see this one:
i found this:

Sweet, Thanks for your help!
Hey man. Sorry I didn't get online, didn't get your PM until just now. Hell, I didn't even realize we had those on this forum until now. When did that happen?
Anyways, what did ya need. Post here, I'll be in and out for the next few hours until the Superbowl. Which of course, I won't be avaliable during.

hey man, its aight. I got it worked out. I just purchased the directed audio amp.
what kind of wiring should i be lookin for here? I found Stinger 4 GA amp kit for 50 bux should i get that ? if so, am i going to need any more wiring than that?
God i love you, and everyone else here!

Am i going to need anything else as far as wiring the speakers to the amp?
6 gauge is hard to find. 8 is very easy to find, it is really up to you.
You wouldn't need anything else, speaker wire comes with the bundle. Tell him Jeffrey sent ya. I'd go with the 4 gauge, you can hook up a pretty healthy amp to it, and it's easy to work with.
