Well I noticed it was out a few days ago and I have spent almost 2 hours trying to rewire it. I have the white wire spliced into the 3rd brake light. My right brake light still works, and the left bulb lights up when my lights are on. Basically, its that left bulb that won't completely light up when I press the brake, the others work fine. I'm so stumped. All my wiring "looks" solid and the connections are firm. Any other ideas? Thx guys!

Check it with a multimeter.

Actually I've got one, I'll have my gf help me out and press the brake down tomorrow and i'll poke around with it.

That would be your best bet, check and see if you're getting full voltage, or if you have a short somewhere, loose ground, et cedera...
