As the topic said. My buddy has a 95 beretta with 2 SWR-1241D subs in his car run @ 1ohm with a Viper D1200.1 and it's really loud and clean. Is it possible for me to make my SWR-1242D as loud as his with a 800W RMS amp @2ohm.

If you go with a proper ported box, maybe. He's got more surface area, and 400 more watts rms.

with a large ported box with a good size port your be as loud if not louder
I'm thinking 2-2.5 cubes at around 33 hz...that should do ya some good.
