PI = 3.14
R=Radius

thats the length of course what sub are you running? I would go the height of the box and maybe 1.5" wide.

i thought we were talking area..

a 4" round circle is equal to 12.56 sq. in of area.

running a rockford fosgate power T1 12" maybe adding another one later but for now just one, and running it off a fosgate power 1000.1 amp, the box calculations(od) will be 14" height, 18" wide, 16"length that gives me 4032 divide that by 1728= and that will give me 2.3 cu/ft od so all i have to figure out is the slot port size, like I said if a round port is 4"wide 6.5" long (which is for 2.5cu/ft box) how would I turn those figures into a slot port, ( other than a magic wand ) lol

my port length in my box is 16" high 22.75" long and 1.75" off the side and back wall of the box. I was looking on there and my box is way off from what it says. I mean it's loud and sounds good for bass prolly closer to 40hz but it could be better.
