I have a crap load of electronics in the car (IMO) including 7" Moniter, PS2, Glow Gauges, 2 10" Neons, Leds in the door speakers, 2 10" Lightining Audio P3 750W Subs, Rockford 201s 600W Amp.
When I'm got my foot on the gas everything is fine. But when I'm idling the glow gauges, radio display, and Moniter flicker (wether or not I have the bass kickin'). It's worse when the bass is on. I do plan on getting a capacitor, but I know that's not gonna help completly. What do ya'll suggest?

a cap won't help your situation anyway, you're not making enough power from the alt

get a new alt. you can pick up a 180 amp for 180 bucks.

but you should be fine if you do the big 3 and you can also run a 4ga wire from your alt to your battery that will help get more current to your battery
