Well I recently Installed:

Alpine Type R Sub
Alpine 605 amp
Alpine Type S 6x9 (rear deck)
Alpine Type S 6.5 (Doors)

Well I when I play the music up to loud and the base hits. U can hear like the music stop for a sec. Like the music isnt playing. It only does this when the base is turned up. My cd player goes from a -3 to 8. Anything after 4 starts to "skip".

Now I was just wondering what is going on? I have a 4 ch amp for the speakers but I didnt install it yet. will this help any if I install it?

Check all the wiring, make sure you have good grounds and good connections to the power wires. Check the rca's make sure they have a good connection too.
