What did you do for the upgrade; was it an aftermarket alternator, or did you beef up your stock alternator? How much did it cost, where did you get it and how much of a hassle was the install? Did you notice a difference?

You can get 160 amp alternators on ebay for around 200 bucks. I installed it myself. Big difference, especially with the 2nd battery.

mine is 260 amps had to get a bracket for it got it from dom irraggi. getting another. its gonna run me a couple hudred like 4. there is a group buy going on at termpro.com right now its a good deal

i got mine from dom as well for my 2.4 i didn't see/feel and hp loss/lag

The alternators you bought from Dom, did you have any mounting troubles? Did you need to buy a different belt?

Mine dropped right in, fit the stock location, and no new belt needed.

nope he sent me a bracket and full color picture directions no new belt needed or anything. if you want one get in on the group buy at termpro. lets just say a 30 percent discount is lovely.
