ok i made a trip to the valley last week and on my way home my odometer screen started turning red from the center and growing the longer i drove. Is this something i should worry about or is it the just screen getting warm?


It wouldnt be any fun if it was easy.

It's just the light bulb behind the odometer heating up the LCD. It's not detrimental... mine did it for years. If you're worried about it on long trips, just dial down the dimmer knob... turn down the light level, turns down the heat produced.

The only heat mine could't endure was the fire someone set in it... melted the whole damn dash!!

That sucks about the fire. It didnt really worry me i just wanted to make sure.
