I'm thinking of getting the Alpine CDE-9843 cd player. Though just about every site I've "selected" my car for what fits, it says it won't fit. I don't see why it wouldn't, I believe it's the same size as just about all the other Alpine decks. And on those same sites, it says other models of Alpine will fit my car. Is this bogus, or is it for real? Thanks in advance.

bah it will fit if u want it to

it says it wont fit cause your stock HU is 1.5 DIN and the alpine your viewing is 1 DIN. you need to get an adapter to get it to fit.

Yeah Metra makes a way better one now, versus that above. Best Buy sells the newer Metra kits. I had one of those shown, but I tossed it out.
