i've got an 01 Z24 and my question is.

I've got everything I need for my HU install, except that the wiring harness I have to wire up to the radio has 2 ends. one end is a white male end, and the other end is a dark grey and light gray female end. the white male end has the red +12 V wire in what would seem to be the #1 pin.

the question is, the HU doesn't have either reciever-side to this harness. I know that I'm going to have to cut and splice, but which end is actually inside the dash? will the dash recieve the white male end, or the gray female end of this harness? BTW, it's a metra 70-2003 harness.

anyone have a clue, because I don't.

easy solution.......
rip out dash and see which end fits

its just like humans, the femal end has a hole the something goes into, and the male end is that something that goes in the hole
