didnt know where to put this but for christmas my parents got me a remote starter for the cavalier. the brand is bulldog security. after watchin the dvd that came with it, it suggested that you buy a special t harness which supposedly makes installation alot easier. then it said if your car had a anti theft device you need to buy a bypass module. my question is do i really need any of this crap. and i was wondering if anyone had any problems with this kit.

you need a 555l, go to eBay and buy one. It is made by DEI. It is for your Passlock II

I don't know what "T harness" they're talking about, but you definitely need the Passlock Module like what James suggested.
