Amp suggestion for my subs.... help?
Thursday, December 22, 2005 7:23 PM
Hey everyone, I currently own four of these SUBS (Polk Momo MM2124 - 12")

I'm wondering wha would be a good amp, or couple of amps to power these. I'm more looking into a couple amps though, just for setup purposes.

Any suggesstions what would be a good couple amps to power these subs properly?

Thanks

How much do you wanna spend? Those subs are svc 4 ohms right? I would get an amp that puts out about 1k watts @ 2 ohms.

If they're 4ohm svc like the site says, then you'll need an amp stable down to 1 ohm.

Directed Audio 1100D Refurbished $110
Rated Power @ 2 ohm: 800 x 1

Get 2 of these, one for each pair, and you should be set.
