you need to run a wire to the key so that when you turn the key off the radio shuts off. I couldnt tell you which wire itd be. Just get some testers and thatll tell you. Sounds like a good idea tho. Good luck

Oh hey im sure there really isnt a place to mount it besides a blank panel. But you can get different holders. Like in boats there is some that mount into a blank panel some that hang down under neath the dash.

Besides that im sure your good to go. Sorry im not a professional but hey im trying to help as much as possible cuz that sounds like a cool idea. Oh hey if he isnt gonna use the radio all the time you wont hafta run a ign key switched wire. Just have a switch next to the radio for off and on. Fuse the power wire!.

shoot. i forgot about antenna wire. I can honestly tell you i have no clue how those suckers work. Maybe go to the junkyard and find a car stripped all to hell and see if you can find some sorta antenna wire and how its ran to the antenna. Buy that.. Try finding one that the antenna is real close to the radio so you have less wire. lol at howard stern comment . Thats about all i can help once again good luck

well heres what you will need to do

1. Run a constant power wire from the battery
2. Run a switched power wire from the ignition
3. Connect your ground
4. Place Speakers
5. Run speaker wire
7. Drill hole for antenna
8. Mount antenna(Of sometimes you can find ones that just stick on from like Best Buy or Circuit City etc..
9. Run antenna wire
10. Mount Radio(Can get a universal mounting bracket from Best Buy or Circuit City)
11. Listen to the radio

Pretty Easy just take your time and do it right.
