Door with components

First off, Hello everyone. My wife and I purchased a 2002 Sunfire coupe. In the doors it has what looks like a component set. I was wondering what is the best way to go to replace them. I was thinking a 2-way with a tweeter or a component set, I will be doing all this myself. I just don't know what I could fit.

I will be replacing mine in a couple weeks and i am putting alpine 6X9's in the rear and Pioneer 4X6's in the doors. The 4X6's are the stock size of the speaker in the door. Metra makes a kit so that you can put 6" round speakers in the doors. If i would have known this before i got my speakers then i would have bought that. Also your speakers will not sound any better unless you get a new head-unit. Yes i did 2 way instead of 3 way. and im running 2 amplifiers, 1 for the sub and 1 for the speakers. Also my car is a 2004 cavalier, but I don't think the speaker size is different. Hope I was help to you and good luck.
