I was trying to wire my mp3 player into my cd player Aux cables(RCA) and into the player through the headphone jack.
It works but it isnt loud at all...I'm thinking there is some kind of signal booster that I need?
Might need to raise the AUX sensitivity on the deck, it'll be in the menu somewhere depending on what kind of deck you have. Try raising the volume on the mp3 player too.

No such luck as far as AUX sensitivity goes..
And I'm not a moron, I had the volume up all the way
Does your MP3 player have a line out? My Dell DJ is much louder and clearer through the line out than the headphone jack.

What kind of deck is it? Almost every deck I've installed that has aux inputs has adjustable sensitivity. Depending on the kind of deck it might be hard to find.
And didn't mean to call you a retard, some people just forget things sometimes, I know it happens to me.
