Can someone recommend some 6x9in woofers for around 100 dollars...not two ways...thanks
I was gonna say infinity and JBL, but i think you can only get component and 2+ ways.
Someone's gonna b*tch slap me for this, but Lanzar. Seriously. I heard a set of them in a friend's car and they sounded surprisingly good. Their products have gotten really good over the years. My boy's system is all Optidrive from Lanzar and for the money it's some of the nicest stuff I've heard. That's coming form a die hard audio fanatic.

Well what about some nice 6.5 woofers?
ive had nothing but bad experiences from lanzar, and its related companies. shotty workmanship. just lost a 1200 watt "viberant" amp a few months ago, it cooked itself.

Over the years, Lanzar has definitely had its issues, but then every company does at some point or another. Lanzar is no exception, and try to remember the Vibe series is their entry level line, so you can't really expect much from them. I've never been Lanzar's biggest fan either, but after hearing their top-end Optidrive line of products in a vehicle, they're not all that bad for what you pay. I personally am a firm believer that you get what you pay for wether you're talking intakes or amplifiers, and with that said, for under 100 bucks, it's hard to find an exceptional product. Most end up being little more than a good looking alternative to factory speakers. That said, the Lanzar stuff is in the price range, but so is a lot of Pioneer or Sony stuff. I just think the Lanzar stuff sounds better. Personally, I'd say toss in an extra 50 bucks, spend 150, and get some Infinity or Polk speakers. But I'd also say spend the money and get a set of MB Quart or some Diamond Audio, but those can't be touched for less than 250.

Haha I was thinking the same tang thing. Haven't had that in a long time!

though tang band makes an extremly great product for the price, due to the qts being at only .44, you wouldnt be able to use them in an open baffle application. Tani wouldnt be worth your time and money to try to build a box into your back deck to get a worthwhile sound out of them. Tnag band makes awesome home speaker diy stuff, unfortunatly most of there stuff isnt geared toward car audio.
