I was wondering how everybody thought an Alpine MRP-M350 would work with a Dual 4 ohm Alpine Type R 12 wired down 2 2ohms. It would be running 350watts RMS and 700watts Peak I was just wondering how everybody thought it might sound

Or do you guys think it would be better to run it at 600RMS and get a Dual 2ohm woofer wired to 1ohm?

That amp isnt one ohm stable, i would risk it even with impedance rise. Go with the newer 600wrms one or the 1000wrms one.

I have a 10" type-r hooked up to the MRP-M350 and it hits hard... but not nearly as hard as it could. The 350 just doesn't do it justice. I'm gonna swap out the amp for the MRD-M605 as soon as christmas rolls around.
