In-Dash Video Lockout Bypass Help

Ok, come February, I'm purchasing a Pioneer AVH-P5700DVD.

Now, I've been doing some reading, and I want to bypass the "video lockout" function on this unit. I know it's illegal to have a video playing in view of the driver, but the main reason for getting this unit, is so when I make my trips to Arizona, my girl can watch the movies. I've been searching around, but to no avail. Some people say just grounding the unit will bypass, other say you have to wire a 2 way switch to the ground and flick it 2 times.

Also, I was told the AVH-P7600DVD, Pioneer's Flagship In-Dash (which is actually last year's model) did not have the upgrade the P5700DVD, AVIC-N2, and AVIC-D2 have. So simply grounding the P7600DVD will bypass the video lockout.

Can anybody help me in my quest?

I'm actually selling that EXACT unit on eBay as we speak. I'm selling it for a buddy at work, I'll ask him what needs to be done. It is new in the box. email me and I'll shoot you a link.

It tells you ground ground at the point of the emergancy brake, so when its pulled you can watch. However, you just ground to a body panel or something of that nature at it will be on while driving.

I actually had a friend on another board help me with this, but due to it being illegal, I will not cross-refrence topics. The green wire from this deck needs to be grounded. That is all. This topic can be locked if anyone wishes.
