Ok, here's the deal. I have an Alpine headunit with its own Subwoofer preouts. So hooking up my amps is real simple.
However The propblem is the rigtht front and rear channels seem to be controlling my sub channel.
I installed Bass blockers in the wiring right before each of my rear speakers. Tested it at 2 pm, everything was working great. I took out my good set of subs and re installed my old basslink. Hooking up everything like the other 30 or so times its been in and out of the car. My good set is only in the car for meets and shows.
Well now, it seems the right bassblocker for the rear speaker is blocking the bass for my basslink. Nothing esle is different, so WTF?
That's really weird. The RCA's carry a different signal than the rear speakers, so that should not be affected. Did you check your subwoofer settings on your basslink and the head unit?
