Is this tach / rev counter any good?

It's 2 and 1/6" from Howell Automotive, $89.95. I want to pop it in an A-pillar pod on my car. Does anyone have experience either with this tach or with Howell Automotive in general?

Also, where is there a hole for me to run wires through the firewall? Ie. to get my signal wire from the tach to the engine bay.

The hole is on the driver side,Its the big grey grommet.

Howell is great.

And dont you already have a tach in the car?

Alright thanks. I want a small-ish one because i have an auto and don't want people laughing at me putting a tach in an auto. Anyway, I think that the Howell one is a bit overpriced so i;m trying to find something between 2" and 3.5" for less. I've also been browsing ebay but a lot of the hits are "vintage" ones for old cars.

Any suggestions on brands to look for? Preferably ones with 2-cyl options so I don't have to buy a Tach adapter.
